COUNTY COMMISSIONER DISTRICT 1
Lynn Morales grew up in a military family and has lived in the Terre Haute community for close to forty years. She long ago chose to stay in this Vigo County community and make it the home where she raised six children who are all graduates of the local school system. Three of her nine grandchildren are graduates of Terre Haute schools as well.

Terre Haute, Vigo County, the Wabash Valley, and the Midwest are of undeniable importance to her life and her work as a mother, a grandmother, a professional, and a citizen. Lynn has an extensive background in accounting and finance. With a finance career that has spanned nearly fifty years, her work has included healthcare and construction, including working with unions and government contracts. She has also been co-owner of two companies.
Lynn has a lifelong passion for statistics, financial reporting, and problem solving with the tools of accounting and finance. These are skills she has put to work with great pride for herself, her family, her community, and even local organizations.
Though she began her education as a student of Ivy Tech, Lynn is a graduate of St. Mary-of-the-Woods College with a degree in Accounting, and she has given back to her alma mater repeatedly by serving on its Alumni Board, being heavily involved in the college, works in the community, and advocating for the school throughout her career and life journeys. Lynn also holds an MBA in Accounting from Indiana Wesleyan University and currently serves as Treasurer for the 14th & Chestnut Community Center in Terre Haute.
She is an active and proud dog mom, and continues her passion for lifelong learning by taking OLLI courses at ISU to this day.
